Save from excusing Obama for Bush's version of national security and foreign policy, it would be difficult not to find flaws in how the administration has been dealing with Afghanistan and its leader, Hamid Karzai.
With corruption (election fraud being the tip of an iceberg) and the black market (poppy fields abound) still plaguing Afghanistan and the ubiquitous time bomb that are the Taliban, has American presence and intervention truly done anything? Or are we just sinking deeper into a difficult situation?
