Yes, even with the recession—the message that work should be fun and will pay you big money immediately still permeates. The recession merely gave them an excuse to not see work for work's sake.

No, this is all a cycle, and though attitudes towards work and even rearing children have changed throughout the year—adulthood still remains the same.
