Coffee connoisseur will make us believe that the beans from civet cats are worth their exorbitant price. Even if they are from their droppings. Though the body is a strange thing, and it seems that something in their digestive systems (enzymes and such) does a number on the raw coffee beans and removes the bitterness making for an extremely smooth cuppa joe. So if you can swallow that story, then a cup of kopi luwak (as the coffee is called in Indonesia)—should be in your future.
