Yes, of course! Apart from making sure that their passengers are comfortable and get to their destinations, the security risks are actually more vital. It's no coincidence that unexpected attacks of terrorism begin from "sleeper" cells.

Not at all, adult passengers are responsible for themselves.

What sounds like the beginning of a strange Airplane comedy, a woman wakes up inside a locked airplane at 3:15 in the morning. Hours after she was supposed to arrive at her destination. Though found by airline security and TSA officials, she has now taken to suing the airline for not waking her up and leaving her to sleep inside an airplane.
