Why this poll was created

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 2010 Yellow Book, approximately half a million Americans headed overseas for medical care in 2006, seeking out surgical, reproductive, and dental procedures, among others, that cost less and in some cases may not be available or legal in the United States.

    Most doctors are trained in US anyway; So the difference you pay for is what is needed to cover malpractice insurance and the US higher costs. Of course I would!

    I've actually had several US dentists tell me they had to break my jaw to remove a wisdom tooth. I went to Thailand and the tooth was removed by a dentist there in only minutes, painlessly and without breaking my jaw!
