No! Citi is breaking itself up, or at least dissolving into a bunch of independent subsidiaries.

It is bankrupt anyway; just have them sell the worthwhile assets, and go back to core lending business.

They like most other US banks are bankrupt. They should sell as much of their non core banking assets as possible.
