Wednesday February 3d Rupert Murdoch is launching The Daily, the first newspaper designed solely for the iPad—but this rejoicing pales in comparison to his stalking of BSkyB overtaking in the UK. In financial terms, the deal would be more than twice as large as his purchase of Dow Jones. And he is determined to get it done. Should we be afraid of Murdoch's intentions as he has frequently demonstrated his appetite for editorial intervention and who also happens to own more than a third of Britain’s national press?
