Climate change is more often referred to as that which is caused by human activity, as opposed to changes in climate that may have resulted as part of Earth's natural processes. Because of this, teaching climate change in school is expected to positively modify human behaviors which are environmentally detrimental in general and which lead to climate change in particular.
