Developed by Fujitsu in japan the palm recognition is deemed much more reliable than fingerprint recognition.
Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank decided to implement this technology as many Japanese, having lost all their banking papers and cards in last March's Tsunami,were unable to access their money. This new technology would ensure always having access to your account even without any identifying documents or bank cards.
