We have had reality t.v. for several years now. However, most of such programming places people in contrived and unlikely situations with big rewards on the line. The term "reality" isn't entirely accurate as the shows do not accurately depict life. Still, such shows are illuminating as they so often elicit behavior that comes from base desires and instincts and social custom. But I do not think that reality t.v., as it is, will long hold our collective attention. I put this question forth to try and gauge our desire for reality television.
