Yes. Studies show that quitting smoking has few positive effects. And the life expectanciesin Greece and Japan are among the highest in the world, even though they also smoke the most.

Yes. Cigarettes cause harm, but they also reduce stress, which is a net benefit.

No. Cigarettes are as dangerous as is normally claimed.

Cigarettes are even more dangeours than claimed!

Smoking is dangerous; tobacco is not. Snuff is safe.

I don't know.

The general consensus is that smoking cigarettes is terrible for your health. If that's the case, why doesn't quitting help? Why do the heaviest-smoking countries have such long life expectancies?

It could just be a complicated statistical issue, but the data make it clear that we're missing something.
