Certain passages in the Bible have been the subject of debate between Christians and non-Christians for the longest time. One particular passage has been making the rounds on the internet lately:
“If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity.” - Deuteronomy 25:11-12
Given that the Bible is supposedly the word of God, does the above passage count as one of them?
