There are scientists who believe that one of our greatest sins against the environment has to do with harm to our biodiversity. Beginning from the concept that the natural world is just as intertwined as a single web of life, the damage to biodiversity is eerily invisible. Because everything is connected, it is difficult to truly pinpoint what may cause the strangeness that is happening to the animals. Like for example, the collection of strange animal and insect deaths as discussed below by the New York Times and Time Magazine.
