He’s not with out praise for Apple however, he does commend them for thinking outside the box! When looking at ACER’s own product line, specifically the 7? A100, he notes that consumers need a low cost option which is what ACER is best at! Shih founded Acer, then called Multitech, in 1976 along with his wife. He ran the company until his retirement in 2004.
